EPISODE #6
The Bible Blueprint for a biblical Marriage
CAREY GREEN
founder Christian Home and Family
SUMMARY OF TODAY’S PODCAST
A sermon presented at Community Church of Leadville, Colorado – the church where Carey serves as Pastor (as of this posting).
This message was presented as part of a Expository series of messages through the Epistle to the Ephesians. The series was entitled “IF/THEN” – referring to the reality that IF a person is a believer in Jesus Christ, THEN they have been transformed and certain changes should happen in the way they live. This message came in the “THEN” portion of the study, Ephesians 5:21-33. The message covers some of the New Testament teaching on roles and responsibilities of Christian husbands and wives, that will enable them to build a biblical marriage.

the reason the man is the head because hell hath no fury, man are better than women at dealing with anger, probly cause of all the wars and stuff men have got sick of fighting. women, due to how socity has been allowed to evolve (keyword there is ALLOWED) have rarly had the power to cause much damage, so have to learn from men how to temper it in a balanced way, so as this is an area a woman would submit to a man, a man submits to a woman in the area of compassion, this they learn from childbirth, there are other things as well but like you correctly point out it has to be from a point of balance (which is the power of the heart (love) overcoming the duality of mind).
a bit general but i hope you get my point, i really get this stuff, i think, an am loving your podcast too keep it up dude
Thanks for joining the conversation Andrew… I’m not sure it’s best to think in terms of “mean are better”/”women are better” – but rather that we are designed and gifted differently. And you’re right to notice that both men and women actually submit to each other – only the way it looks differs according to the role they are to play in the relationship. Blessings!
